Through the generosity of our community, 2SHARE transforms donated/purchased furniture into furnished homes—providing beds, tables, sofas, dressers, and other essentials that help families begin again.

“This is my bed?… This is my bed!”
Of all the furniture we deliver, beds carry a special meaning—especially for children.
A sofa is shared. A kitchen table belongs to the family. But a bed is different. A bed is theirs. It’s a place to sleep, to feel safe, and to wake up knowing they have something of their own.
Our volunteers never forget hearing a child say, sometimes quietly in disbelief and sometimes with pure excitement, “This is my bed!”
That simple sentence says more than we ever could.
And sometimes, changing a life begins with something as simple as giving a child a bed.

As part of this partnership, the American Red Cross donated a delivery truck to help expand our capacity to serve families throughout the Cape Fear region.
